I was looking through some of my own pictures and I happened upon this pic of my old snake that I had.
She (or he) was a Red racer or also known as a couch whip and had to be the most evil snake I have ever dealt with. There wasn't a day when he or she didn't bite me.
I still enjoyed her or him. Plus she had this strange obsession with toilet paper tubes. if there was one close to her she would do this and it was only with full toilet paper tubes. They couldn't be just the cardboard.

I love this and the story behind it-it seems as though you've had alot of experience with reptiles.
A friend of mine got a corn snake from her boyfriends brother, already full grown, and lately it has been behaving oddly. She said that it doesn't react when she sticks her hand in the tank, and that it's eyes look really cloudy, like it's going blind. We did some research and discovered 'retained eyecaps' (I think that's what it's called.) She can't afford to take it to a vet, and her father wouldn't drive her out there for a snake anyway.
What do you think she should do?
